Firebrand Poets is a grassroots community-led and for event with a team of organisers from marginalised identities.

Now more than ever people need to be housed, to take shelter, with processes of injustice rolling in like climate change, war, poverty and immigration making the world for the many a harsh, dissonant place. We invite you to take shelter from the storm. Join us at our monthly Firebrand Poets' gathering, in the wonderful ambience of The Antwerp Arms, to celebrate what we can still make of 'these ruins we have shored against ourselves', to paraphrase T.S. Eliot, and give voice and expression to our sense of living - and simply to enjoy each other's company.
