Colin started DJING when he was around 14 years old and is still going strong! He’s been a part of many sound systems over the years. His 1st sound system was called ROOTS also known as ROOTS HIFI which he was in from 1974 till about 1978. Next came 'DDC' ( Delroy Palmer,David Nugget, and Coiln!) Then around 1979-1981 Party Sound next came LA NIGHTS with John Davis and Steve Stirling. From 1982-1985 Colin started using FUNKY C then was involved in The Family with Trevor C , Freddie and Colin’s cousin Ian. For the last 20 years, Colin has been a one man band known as Mr Brown but people say Colin B, Colin C, Mr Colin or just Colin Brown! To people locally he’s know as the legend that is Coiln Brown!
