Joy of joys – 2024 there will have been TWO beer festivals at the Annie. That’s right! Our first one was Easter. Our next will be 31st October through to 3rd November. See below for why you should be there!
The Antwerp Arms was the only N17 Tottenham pub listed in the 2024 Good Beer Guide published by the Campaign for Real Ale. It lists pubs that sell real ale and maintain it to good standards - that is something we are very proud of!
It has always been important to have available and serve real ale to the community. This has been harmonised by the pub being run by local brewery Redemption. Their beers have always been available on the handpumps and with the new relationship they always will be, together with other guest ales alongside.
To those who enjoy drinking their real ale with us, the Beer Festival is important. It allows us to feature a more varied range or special brew that may not be commonly available. Or we could explore outside our normal range as we can order in special barrels just for the festival.
Another beer festival
The festival can allow you to try something different and appreciate different flavours and tastes. These range from a sweet dark Mild to a refreshing Golden Ale to a hoppy IPA to a rich black Porter. We are currently deciding what we will have but we will have something for everyone to enjoy!
With no Great British Beer Festival this year, our 2nd Beer Festival of the year is a welcome bonus to showcase Fantastic Beers in our Beautiful Pub! Mark October 31-November 3rd in your diary.
